What counts as a governed action?
One attempt by one agent that activates the Dome governance layer. In audit, this would be tool.call and model.call. Only calls that are completed are billed. Attempted calls that are fail or are denied (for example, over a quota limit or a system issue), are not billed.
Do you bill governed actions that policy denies?
Yes, those are counted as governed actions with the correct behavior of denying the action. If the action fails before governance it is not billed.
What is not billable?
We bill only for the main governed actions, so other platform actions such as registration, or simulation are not billed. Any call that fails before it reaches the tool, because no governance decision was enforced is also not billed.
How do users work?
A user is one person with a login to the Dome dashboard. In the Free and Pro tiers, there are limits to the total number of users across all workspaces. In the Team and Enterprise tiers, users are unlimited. Agents do not consume users, so bringing more agents under management never costs you a user seat.
Is the free tier time-limited?
No. There is no trial clock and no card required. Free carries the same capabilities as Pro and stops at its monthly allowance instead of billing you, so nothing runs up a surprise invoice. Owing to the hard stop mechanics, we don't recommend using the Free tier in production.
Does the included usage credit roll over?
No. The credit is a monthly allowance the platform fee already covers, and usage is billed only above it.
What stops a looping agent running up the bill?
Agents loop, and a misconfigured one can burn a month's allowance in an hour. Carded accounts get a visible default spend ceiling at four times the included usage, which you can raise in one click. Free hard-stops instead.
Do Team and Enterprise get volume discounts?
Enterprise receives Volume Discount Pricing, plus a prepaid commit that usage draws down against. Contact us to discuss how we can meet your needs.
