AI agents for banks and lenders
Give your bankers agents that draft the file and leave the decision
Three agents for credit memos, mortgage file checks and adverse action notices. The ones bankers call act as that banker, credit pulls follow the loan file, and no agent changes a risk rating or a decision. Every call lands in one audit record.

Regulation
Show fair lending and model risk teams what agents did
Lending agents read credit reports, draft memos and write the notices applicants receive. These are the rules that reach them.
ECOA and Regulation B
What it asks
An applicant who's denied gets the specific principal reasons, however the decision was made.
What Dome gives you
The adverse action agent drafts the notice from the reasons recorded in the decision. It can't send the notice or change the decision.
FCRA
What it asks
Consumer reports can be pulled only for a permissible purpose, and a denial based on one needs its own notice.
What Dome gives you
A rule lets the agent order a credit report only for a borrower on the loan file it's working. Any other pull is refused and recorded.
SR 11-7 model risk management
What it asks
Banks inventory their models, validate them and govern how they're used, including vendor models.
What Dome gives you
Each agent reaches only approved models through Dome. Every model call is recorded, which gives validation teams the usage record by agent.
FAQ
Common questions
How are AI agents used in banking and lending?
Drafting credit memos, checking mortgage files and writing adverse action notices are common first agents. Each drafts inside the access its banker already has, and people keep credit decisions.
Can an AI agent change a loan's risk rating?
Not on this setup. The agent drafts the memo in nCino, and a rule refuses its call to set a risk rating. The refusal is in the audit record.
Can AI write adverse action notices under Reg B?
It can draft them from the reasons recorded in the credit decision. The notice still needs the specific principal reasons, and a banker sends it.
How do you stop an AI agent from pulling credit without a permissible purpose?
Write a rule on the call's arguments. Dome lets the agent order a report only for a borrower on the loan file it's working, and refuses the rest.
Does SR 11-7 apply to AI agents?
Most banks treat the models behind agents as models under SR 11-7. Dome limits agents to approved models and records every call, which supports inventory and monitoring.
